It is March, that means its International Women’s Month and at Dresscode we are soooooooo excited!!!
That being said we want to share with our community all of the great things planned in Chicago for International Women’s Day (IWD). on March 8th and the rest of the month. But before we jump into that we want to highlight this year’s AWESOME theme.
Every year there is a theme for IWD and sub-themes to support the day, month, year, movement. If you didn’t know the theme for 2019 is #BalanceForBetter. Below are the sub-themes:
- Year long activity and collaboration
- Let’s build a gender-balanced world
- Collectively we can all play a part
- Motivate others
- Amplify via social media
- Take action
Whatever that means to you…“The future is exciting. Let’s build a gender-balanced world.
Everyone has a part to play – all the time, everywhere.
From grassroots activism to worldwide action, we are entering an exciting period of history where the world expects balance. We notice its absence and celebrate its presence.
Balance drives a better working world. Let’s all help create a #BalanceforBetter.”
